Welcome to Circo Fortuna

Open since 1992, Circo Fortuna is a small atelier-boutique situated in Ortigia, the historic center of Siracusa. Wandering around the small streets in Ortigia, you will maybe accidentally pass by. If not, you can find Circo Fortuna in Via Capodieci 42.

What to expect? A unique space, filled with a kiln, a table with brushes and paints and … wait, have a look inside.

Here you are on my sunny website. I hope to surprise you with my collection of unusual Sicilian art and crafts. My creations are not only for children but also for those who like the joyful side of life. If you’re looking for a different kind of gift for yourself or for another special person or if you desire an original Italian souvenir you can choose from my ceramics, playing cards and posters. conoscevo già le tue creazioni perchè ho avuto modo di visitare il tuo laboratorio/negozio ad ortigia qualche anno fa grazie ad un'amica siracusana... e quindi alla bellezza del tutto ero pronta!!
ma anche il pacchetto e l'incartamento e il graditissimo regalo (le cartoline) e il tuo pensiero scritto a mano e le attenzioni che hai avuto... queste sono le cose che scaldano il cuore!!

  We discovered Caroline's creations while staying at the Gutkowski Hotel in Syracuse. What an enchanting breakfast! When we saw "Circo Fortuna", we immediately recognized the dishes. Since then, we can't return to Syracuse without passing by the workshop-boutique in via Capodieci, where happiness is always present.Her welcome is always friendly.  Caroline speaks many languages. We feel good in the midst of her creations full of joie de vivre and we would like to do like her: stay in Syracuse for the rest of our lives.
Abbiamo scoperto le creazioni di Caroline durante il soggiorno al Gutkowski Hotel di Siracusa. Che colazione incantevole! Quando siamo passati davanti alla boutique "Circo Fortuna", abbiamo subito riconosciuto i piatti. Da allora non possiamo più tornare a Siracusa senza passare dal negozio-laboratorio di via Capodieci, dove la felicità è sempre presente. L'accoglienza è cool e calorosa. Caroline parla molte lingue. Ci sentiamo bene in mezzo alle sue creazioni piene di gioia di vivere e vorremmo fare come lei: rimanere a Siracusa per il resto della nostra vita.
Nous avons découvert les créations de Caroline en séjournant à l’hôtel Gutkowski de Syracuse. Quel petit-déjeuner enchanteur ! Lorsque nous sommes passés devant « Circo Fortuna », nous avons tout de suite reconnu la vaisselle. Depuis, nous ne pouvons pas retourner à Syracuse sans passer par la boutique-atelier de la via Capodieci, où le bonheur est toujours au rendez-vous. L’accueil est cool et chaleureux. Caroline parle de multiples langues. On se sent bien au milieu de ses créations pleines de joie de vivre et on aimerait faire comme elle : rester toute la vie à Syracuse.
